Nina Skirt Test by Compagnie M

He testado el nuevo patrón de Compagnie M "Nina skirt and culottes" es una falda básica de linea A con bolsillos en la cadera, pinzas en la espalda y cinturilla con forma. Es un patrón muy versátil que además puede ser transformado en falda-pantalón. Me gusta mucho porque en un mismo patrón hay diferentes opciones para coser la misma prenda con diferentes estilos. El rango de tallas es muy amplio, desde la 1 a la 10.


I tested the new Compagnie M pattern, Nina skirt and culottes, a basic A line skirt with the option for culottes. It's a versatile pattern as different options are provide, one pattern many different looks.

Yo he cosido mi colorida versión conjuntando dos piqués que le dan bastante cuerpo a la falda.

I sewed my colour blocking version in piqué fabric, very colourful and floral, perfect for summer.

En la parte trasera lleva dos pequeñas pinzas y se cierra con cremallera invisible en el lado izquierdo (aunque yo la cosí en el derecho, me había quedado tan bien que no quise descoserla)  además le he puesto una cinturilla ojalada en la trasera porque mi hija es delgada y la necesita por lo que podría haber prescindido de la cremallera perfectamente, os lo recomiendo si queréis hacer un proyecto de 1 hora. He cosido la talla 7 con los largos de la 10.

The skirt has two little darts in the back and it is closed with an invisible zipper in the left side (sorry I did in the right side, it turned out so beautifully sewed that I didn't like to change it)
Beside,  I sewed a buttonhole elastic waistband in the back, because my daughter is very slim. In this case the skirt could have go without zipper, interested option for a quick project.
I made a size 7 with length 10.

Camiseta de topos, la primera de la temporada

Empiezo de nuevo a coser para la niña, en esta ocasión le he hecho una camiseta de punto. Le he puesto unos puños extragrandes pero no me acaban de convencer, me gustan más de medida normal. 

 Last weekend I sewed a t-shirt for my daughter (pattern self drafted), I cannot remember when was the last time I did it for her. The only thing I don`t like about it is the cuffs, I think they are too large but I didn`t buy enough fabric, sorry it was my fault.

  La camiseta es bastante larga, de ahí la bolsa que tiene a la altura de la cintura.

She likes her new t-shirt, which is very long because she wanted it to be in such a way, so you can see these wrinkles in her waist.

Another Mara Blouse

It's not a secret that I love The Mara Blouse, so that I sewed another one. This time with a cotton apple print fabric. Do you like apples?. 
I have made some changes, as I said in other post, this pattern is very versatile.I changed the neckline and the sleeve width. On the other hand I didn't change the yoke because I consider it the blouse style signature.

No es un secreto que me encanta este patrón, por eso he hecho otra blusa esta vez con estampado de manzanas floreadas. En esta ocasión he hecho algunos cambios, como el escote y la profundidad de las mangas de mariposa. Por otra parte he mantenido la parte del canesú que es el signo de identidad de esta blusa.

 I like buttons, so I add a buttonstand, it's another change I made.
 
Como me gustan mucho los botones, le he añadido una vista al canesú para poder poner unos.

Mara Blouse

Since I first saw the Mara Blouse by Compagnie M I felt in love with it. This is the second one I sew, but not the last because I have the intention to turn it into a dress.
 As the weather was nice today, I have decided to take some pictures to show you the blouse and also to take part in the contest that Marte has arranged, all the information here.

I made the Mara blouse in a lightweight cotton, I have not made any change, I sewed a 8-year-old-size. The pattern is very versatile, it comes with five different sleeves, I chose the flutter sleeve.
I recommend this pattern is femenine and has a touch of vintage.

Amor a primera vista es lo que sentí cuando ví esta blusa de Compagnie M "The Mara Blouse" es femenina y tiene un toque "vintage" que la hace ideal para mi hija. Me gusta tanto que ya he cosido dos, pero tengo pensado transformarla en vestido, es un patrón muy versatil, hay cinco tipos diferentes de mangas, y cada una le da un aire diferente al mismo patrón.

Stella Skirt

La semana pasada estuve cosiendo una falda para Lovely Laia, se trata de Stella Skirt de Compagnie M. Es una falda asimétrica con forma acampanada. Es muy bonita y tiene mucho movimiento. Las instrucciones aunque en inglés muy fáciles de seguir y Marte tiene diversos tutoriales para que sea más fácil aún coserla.


Last week I sewed The Stella Skirt" by Compagnie M, it is an asymmetrical A-line skirt. The instruccions are easy to follow and several tutorials are provided.

Delante está fruncida y lleva un vivo todo alrededor de la cinturilla.

The front of the skirt has a piping  on the waistband. Before sewing this skirt I was afraid to add piping to clothes but not anymore.


La parte de atrás lleva elástico, ideal para niñas delgaditas como la mía.

In the back it has an elasticated waistband for skinny girls as mine.
